Service Designer based in Wellington. I spend most of my time mapping out how things work, talking to people, and trying to make services less frustrating.
Some projects I've been involved with recently
Transport feedback app for Wellington commuters to share what's happening on buses and trains in real-time.
Community platform experiment focused on simple interactions and clear communication.
Redesigning digital services to better support students throughout their university journey.

Day-to-day stuff
Drawing out how services currently work and where the problems are
Interviews, workshops, testing things with actual users
Understanding how customers experience services from start to finish
Making quick versions of ideas to see if they actually work
Helping teams understand their users and make better decisions
Currently based in Wellington, working on service design and customer experience projects. Most of my day involves mapping services, interviewing people, running workshops, and trying to help teams make things less complicated.
I have ADHD, which means my brain works a bit differently. Good days: I spot patterns others miss and hyperfocus on solving problems. Challenging days: I need to work in ways that actually suit how my brain operates. It's part of who I am.
I think the best work happens when you actually listen to people, stay curious about why things are the way they are, and don't pretend to have all the answers upfront.
Want to chat about a project? Need a service designer? Just want to say hi? I usually respond within a day or two.
